Dear Raimundas [Malašauskas],
We have found the (main) person that will carry the performance: Julius Vischjager.
Julius is 68 years old and editor and publisher of the weekly paper The Daily Invisible.
The Daily Invisible is a kind of one man cult newspaper about politics and Julius’ personal issues like his relationship with politicians, his personal networks and adventures. He plays piano at diverse places and preferably for politicians that all seem to know him. He recently managed to set up a music room at the governments building in Den Haag, where he proposes his so called tenderness concerts. As editor of The Daily Invisible he gained the privilege to ask the last question to the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the main press conference in the Netherlands.
For the opening of the Baltic Triennial we would like to invite Julius Vischjager to play his composed piano recital (1.15 min). We also like to invite him to make a special edition of The Daily Invisible for the Baltic Triennial. As an introduction we will give a performative presentation of our project in which we explain why we choose Julius Vischjager to play piano and represent us instead of presenting a fashion show.
